- We're focused on God, and we're focused on people. People being transformed through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. People touching other people in our community with the help of the Holy Spirit. We invite you to join in what God is doing with us!

It's a Matter of Balance: Preventing Falls--Older
adults who fall are THREE TIMES more likely to need nursing homes or
long term care. In early 2009, CHUM will offer
a day-long falls prevention class.
We’ll offer the class six times.
The
class is free and includes lunch.
Learn how to fall
safely. Learn how to prevent falls. Learn how to increase your
flexibility, balance and strength at home (and get free stuff to help
you do that). Receive helpful tips about medications, physical
screening, foot care and more. If you’re over age 50, or know someone
who is, you don’t want to miss signing up for one of these classes.

Free Meal after Healing Worship!
It's the "Good Company Meal." Bring
yourself and a friend to Healing Worship on Wednesdays at 6 and stay for
a bit of food in the company of faith as we sit around the
table and talk, reflect and share what God's doing in our lives in a
friendly, relaxed fashion. Bring a dish to share (the meal will be
potluck this winter). EVERYONE IS WELCOME: We mean it when we
say, "Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors." Dress for Healing Worship is
casual. Come on out and bring a friend! Like God's love, there is
always enough for everyone; we hope you'll join us. -
Everyone is welcome to the worship planning meeting,
alternating Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Quin Classroom. Our
next meeting is 11/04 at 7 p.m. You may also contribute to the
team's on-line planning and resource library by becoming part of this
on-line discussion
group. Got an idea about worship? Did you like something we did last
Sunday? Miss something we used to do? Did you just visit us for the
first time and want to give us some feedback? We want to hear your
voice! Join the conversation!
- This week's spotlight photo (11/03): You don't want to
miss the 51st Annual Boy Scout Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, 08
November from 8a-1p!

Prayer is the foundation of all that we do. Whether it's prayer flags, time in worship, learning together about prayer, we pray for and with you. |
